The factor most contractors never discuss.
Bond strength between the old and new pool surface determines the performance, durability and longevity of your resurface. Bond coats, chipping and sandblasting are the traditional methods in our market. They cost less to perform, often fail within 1 to 3 years, and can even damage the pool structure. Material bonding is not covered by the plaster manufacturer’s warranty.
UHP water blasting removes the existing plaster and simultaneously cuts a superior anchor profile for the new finish to grip. We made the investment in the equipment and the education, and we are the only local Detroit contractor that both owns and operates its own UHP rig, so you are not paying rental or subcontractor fees. Bond values come out up to 50% stronger, and we back every surface with a 7 year bond warranty.
Pool Surfaces

White Plaster
Economical and classic. A brilliant, clean surface that gives the water a sky blue tint, smooth to the touch.
Colored Plaster
Pigments and dyes shift the water’s appearance to reflect the colors of nature, with optional mottling.
Quartz
Non-fading quartz aggregate in Portland cement. Durable, slip resistant, and it stands up to the harshest chemistry.
Pebble
A mosaic of tiny pebbles in 24 colors, lightly buffed. The most durable cement-based finish, stain resistant and natural.
Tile
Extremely durable, smooth and colorfast, with endless options for a look that is entirely yours.
Lifespans assume quality materials, proper prep and well-maintained water chemistry. We help you choose by look, feel, science and budget.
Our Process
Drain to dive-in, in six steps.
Drain
Drain the pool and relieve the hydrostatic pressure.
Blast
UHP water blast the original surface at 40,000 PSI, removing all organics, paint and weak plaster while cutting a superior anchor pattern for the new finish.
Build
Install new tile, coping and any other selected items.
Finish
The selected surface is mixed on site and hand troweled. Plaster pools fill immediately. Pebble finishes are acid washed 1 to 2 days later, then filled.
Walk Through
Once your pool is full, our experienced staff performs a thorough walk-through and covers pool care for your new finish.

A Foreman on every site
Crew supervisors are present at all times, identified by the hat marked “Foreman.” Clean work-site through the entire project, not just at completion.
24-hour issue response
Issues are rare. If one occurs, we are at your facility or job site within 24 hours to resolve it.

Our trained staff evaluates your pool surface, deck and equipment against current health and building codes, so you can plan resurfacing and upgrades on a real budget cycle.
